“God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
1 John 4:16
Baptism is the most important step in a Catholic’s life. It begins a lifelong relationship with God, in Christ, through the Holy Spirit.
If you are an adult interested in becoming Catholic, please contact Sr. Angelica (email@example.com) about participating in the RCIA Program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). RCIA Inquiry, a time for anyone of any faith to ask questions about Catholicism, meets monthly. Candidates accepted into the RCIA program will also meet for formation each week following the 11AM Mass on Sundays until 2M
If you have a child that needs to be Baptized or you have been asked to be a sponsor, you’re required to attend a Baptismal Prep Class. To schedule a class please register in advance by calling the office or emailing Sister Angelica at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the process for full initiation in the Catholic Church. This Sacrament of the Holy Spirit seals the gifts within us that God provides. Confirmation classes are held on Tuesdays during the Fall & Spring Semesters. College students and High School Seniors whose parents/guardians are registered parishioners are eligible to sign up. For more information, please see our Confirmation Ministry page.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered by appointment with a priest). The Reconciliation Room/Confessional is located by the northwest corner of the chapel.
Contact Sr. Angelica to set up an appointment to discuss planning. Couples who are interested in celebrating the Sacrament should contact us at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date.
Anointing of the Sick
Please contact one of the priests if you or someone you know would like to be anointed because of sickness, injury, or surgery.
Everyone at the Newman Center is encouraged to discern God’s call for their life, and we pray in particular for those who may be called to the priesthood or religious life. For more information, see our Vocations Page.
