The On-Campus Outreach Team exists to provide a greater awareness of the Newman Center and more importantly the Gospel message to the entire University, as well as keep the Newman Center in touch with the University. We accomplish this through a variety of ways, including tabling on Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. Be sure to stop by the table during lunch time on any of those days, say hi, play some frisbee, cornhole/bean bag toss, or just hang out!
In addition, the On-Campus Outreach Team functions as a liaison between the University and the Newman Center. Since we are recognized by the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (student government) as a University sponsored club, we attend meetings and participate in the life of the University. In addition, we have events out on the U of A Mall, such as Masses and other prayer services.
